Road to 80 kg (oder von vollfett nach vollfit)
Fitness Journey & Weight Log
After a long period of inactivity, I gained a significant amount of weight.
At 182 cm and around 100 kg, even climbing stairs became a challenge.
That’s why I decided to take action—getting back into exercise and improving my diet.
My goal is to reach 80 kg, with a steady weight loss target of 100 g per day.
Currently, I’m focusing on jogging and tracking my progress with the Nike Running Club app.
In the future, I plan to include biking and badminton, which I enjoy even more than running.
To stay accountable and motivated, I am documenting my workouts and weight progress here,
updating the data regularly.
This is not just about losing weight—it’s about building
a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Weight Loss Progress & Trend Analysis
The tracking of training data started on February 21, 2025.
With an initial weight of 99.7 kg and a planned weight loss of 100 g per day, the target weight of 80 kg
should be reached after 197 days – on September 6, 2025.
The graph also includes a regression analysis, showing the current trend based on the recorded data.
This allows a dynamic estimation of when the target weight will be reached.

Today, I compared performance data from my stationary bike and smartwatch during an indoor cycling session.
The results showed a clear discrepancy:
The smartwatch consistently displayed significantly lower heart rate values than the bike,
leading to a much lower estimated calorie burn.
Interestingly, letting go of the handlebars caused a slight increase, but the readings remained unrealistically low.
Another inconsistency appeared in the bike’s energy calculation.
Despite increasing the resistance level, the reported energy output remained unchanged,
even though the effort required was noticeably higher.
This suggests that the bike primarily bases its energy estimates on cadence rather than actual resistance.
To further investigate, I plan to introduce an additional reference device to determine which measurements are most accurate.
While today's data didn't provide a definitive answer, it highlighted key areas for further analysis.

I had to cut my run short today due to back pain.
Unfortunately, the Nike Running Club app failed to save my run, and today's data was lost.
The following data comes from the Smart Watch ET585.
